Newtek — Web Development and IT is the brand used by the sole trader identified above, who is the controller of personal data collected through this website. For privacy enquiries and rights requests, use the email in the identification details.
2. Data we receive
The quote request has four steps. It collects the project type, service options, objective or description, intended timeline, name, email and contact preference. It may include a company, phone number, current website, locality, investment range and notes. Name and email are required; a phone number is required when choosing phone or WhatsApp. This form has no attachment upload.
The Contact page provides email and phone links and a link to request a quote. We receive the data you choose to send through these channels. Avoid sensitive data and unnecessary information about other people.
Access involves technical requests to the infrastructure. Hosting may process IP addresses and request data to provide and protect the service. We do not include IP, user agent or referrer in forwarded quote requests.
To limit abusive attempts, the endpoint temporarily uses a key derived from the IP address reported by the infrastructure, with an ephemeral process secret. The counter stays only in server memory for up to 10 minutes and is not forwarded with the request. This key does not make the data anonymous.
3. Purposes
We use enquiries to answer questions and quote requests to assess needs and prepare proposals. If you hire a service, the data necessary for the contract and legal obligations is processed in that context. Form protection uses validation, an antispam field and attempt limits.
When configured and authorized, analytics measures page views and confirmed requests. It does not send form fields, names, contact details, messages, quoted budgets or customer identifiers to the analytics service.
4. Legal bases
Steps requested by the person intending to enter into a contract and performance of a contract may provide a basis for service requests. Business representatives’ enquiries and security may involve the legitimate interest in responding and protecting the activity, subject to assessment of people’s rights and expectations. Legal obligations apply where processing is required, including tax matters.
Optional analytics requires consent. Responding to an enquiry does not depend on accepting cookies or consenting to advertising. Acceptance of this policy is not used as a general processing authorization.
5. Data flow and recipients
The form sends the request to Newtek’s endpoint. When the sending service is configured, the server sends it directly by SMTP to the email recipient configured by the owner. A success response confirms acceptance by the mail server, not reading or final mailbox delivery. Without configuration, sending is unavailable; preview mode does not send requests.
Personal data may be processed by hosting and technology infrastructure providers, email services, backup services and technical support, strictly to the extent necessary to operate the website, respond to requests, provide requested services and keep systems secure.
These providers act on Newtek’s behalf, under appropriate instructions and subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations. When authorized, measurement uses analytics technologies; cookie identifiers and technical data may distinguish visits and are not completely anonymous.
6. International transfers
If a transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area is necessary, Newtek will ensure that the legally required safeguards are adopted.
7. Retention
Form data stays in browser memory while you complete the form and is not saved locally. Received requests should be retained while needed to respond, prepare and follow up proposals, manage contracts, meet legal obligations or defend rights, according to each record’s purpose.
Retention includes emails, automations, documents and backups. The website does not automatically delete these destinations. Measurement cookies and consent choices have the durations described in the Cookie Policy; retention in the analytics service is a separate setting.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability or objection to processing. You may withdraw analytics consent through “Manage cookies”, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Deleting cookies does not delete data already sent to analytics services.
To exercise your rights, contact Newtek using the published contact details and describe your request. Only information needed to verify identity and respond should be requested. Not all rights apply in the same way to every operation.
Data subject rights — CNPD9. Complaints
You can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), through www.cnpd.pt.
Submit a complaint to the CNPD10. Required fields
Without the necessary fields and project options, we cannot assess and answer a request through the form. Other fields provide context and are optional. Rejecting analytics does not restrict website access or submitting requests.
11. Decisions and advertising
The form does not make decisions with legal effects or classify people for contracting decisions. This integration does not implement advertising, advertising signals, enhanced conversions or user-provided data collection for measurement.
12. Updates
This policy follows the website’s operations and should be reviewed when providers or purposes change. Changes to optional purposes require updated information and a new compatible choice. The displayed date identifies this document version.
